How is Reflexology Practiced?

Reflexology application usually aims to provide relaxation and well-being by stimulating certain reflex points in the body. Here is a general guide on how to practice reflexology with its basic steps:

  1. Preparation and Environment: Create a relaxing environment. By choosing a quiet, calm room, you can use dim lighting and play soothing music. The person to be treated should take a comfortable position.
  2. Identifying Reflex Points: Reflexology At the heart of its practice is the belief that certain points in the body are associated with different organs and systems. You can use reflexology maps to identify these points.
  3. Active Pressure and Massage: Apply active pressure to the reflex points in your chosen area. For the feet, you can usually use your fingertips or your hand. You can provide stimulation by pressing or massaging with circular movements.
  4. Slow and Regular Movements: Take care to use regular movements while applying active pressure to each point. Try to use a relaxing touch while maintaining the practice.
